Ather Energy has launched the 2025 Ather 450 series, featuring significant upgrades designed to enhance performance and safety.
The 450X and 450 Apex models now come with Multi-Mode Traction Control and MagicTwistTM for smoother, safer rides, especially in city traffic.
Price
The 2025 Ather 450S starts at Rs 1,29,999, while the 450X with the 2.9 kWh battery is priced at Rs 1,46,999. The 450X with the 3.7 kWh battery costs Rs 1,56,999, and the 450 Apex is available for Rs 1,99,999 (inclusive of Pro Pack). (All prices, ex-showroom Bengaluru).
Features
The 2025 Ather 450X and 450 Apex now feature Multi-Mode Traction Control, a technology typically found in high-end motorcycles. This system provides better stability on slippery surfaces by synchronising the rear and front wheels.
Riders can choose from three modes: Rain Mode, which offers maximum grip on wet roads; Road Mode, which balances safety and performance; and Rally Mode, designed for off-roading.

The new Ather 450 is powered by AtherStackTM 6, which includes features like Google Maps, Alexa, WhatsApp notifications on the dashboard, and Live Location Sharing, all designed to make your ride more connected and convenient.
Range and Charging
Ather has also collaborated with MRF to develop multi-compound tyres, optimising energy usage with features like MagicTwistTM. This reduces energy loss and boosts range. The 2025 Ather 450X with a 3.7kWh battery now delivers a TrueRangeTM of up to 130 km, while the 450 Apex offers 157 km (IDC Range). The 450X (2.9kWh) and the Ather 450S now deliver a TrueRangeTM of up to 105 km.
Warranty and Perks
Ather is offering an extended Eight70 warranty on the 2025 Ather 450, covering up to 8 years or 80,000 km, with 70 percent battery health assurance.
Additional benefits include the Ather Duo charger, which reduces charging time for the 450X 2.9 kWh model to just 3 hours, and the smart Halo helmet bundled with the 450 Apex.
