The 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser 300 has officially launched in India, just over a month after the manufacturer removed the SUV from its website.
The new model is priced between Rs 2.31 crore and Rs 2.41 crore (ex-showroom), introducing the off-road-focused GR-S variant for the first time. Bookings for both variants, the ZX and GR-S, have already begun.
The 2025 Land Cruiser 300 is Rs 21 lakh more expensive than its predecessor, largely due to enhanced features and increased safety equipment. In terms of size, price, and powertrain, the LC 300 stands alone in India, with competitors like the Range Rover (Rs 2.4 crore-Rs 4.4 crore) and Mercedes-AMG G 63 (Rs 3.6 crore) providing similar luxury off-roading experiences for five passengers.
The ZX variant now includes connected car technology and a fully digital instrument cluster. Meanwhile, the GR-S variant gains front and rear differential locks and a limited-slip differential at the rear, enhancing its off-road performance.
Toyota has also introduced Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) on both variants. This includes adaptive headlights, lane keep assist, autonomous emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control.
The 2025 Land Cruiser 300 continues to offer a range of premium features to enhance comfort and convenience. It comes equipped with a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Other features include four-zone climate control, front and rear ventilated seats, 8-way powered driver’s seat with manual lumbar adjustment, a sunroof, a 360-degree camera, a cool box under the front armrest, to name a few.
In terms of safety, Toyota has equipped the LC 300 with 10 airbags, offering superior protection for all occupants. Additionally, Toyota has replaced the analogue dials with a digital instrument cluster and upgraded the gear knob with a leatherette finish.
The Land Cruiser 300 GR-S is designed for serious off-roading, offering advanced features to tackle rough terrains with ease. It is equipped with front and rear differential locks, limited-slip differential at the rear, crawl control and multiple terrain modes, hill-start assist and descent assist, four-camera off-road monitoring system, and active traction control.
The GR-S also gets a sporty design update, featuring black exterior accents, a bolder front bumper, new black alloy wheels, and GR badging.
Toyota offers the LC 300 in two exterior shades namely Precious White Pearl and Attitude Black. Inside, the ZX variant comes with black or neutral beige interiors, while the GR-S features a sportier black and dark red theme.
Under the bonnet, the 2025 Land Cruiser 300 continues with the 3.3-litre V6 diesel engine, producing 309hp and 700Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a 10-speed torque converter automatic gearbox, delivering power to all four wheels. This powertrain remains unchanged from the previous model.
