Four people were arrested after a violent altercation broke out between two groups at Gardens Galleria Mall in Noida’s Sector 38A on Saturday night. The fight, which occurred near the mall’s main entrance, was reportedly fuelled by alcohol consumption.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Malar Sharma and Vikas Sharma, both residents of Ghaziabad, and Bhupendra Chaudhary and Wasim, NDTV reported. All four had been drinking at the mall when an argument between them escalated into a physical fight.
The brawl disrupted public order until personnel from Sector-39 police station intervened and pacified both groups. The police later arrested all four individuals under sections related to disturbing the peace.
A video of the incident also went viral on social media.

Violent Incidents At Noida Mall
Gardens Galleria Mall has witnessed several such incidents in the past. In September last year, three men were arrested for opening fire in the parking lot following a dispute. In April 2022, a man lost his life after sustaining injuries in a fight at a restro-bar over a bill payment, NDTV reported.
In another disturbing incident, The Indian Express had reported that a woman was allegedly gang-raped in the mall’s parking lot in June 2023, but she filed a complaint only in December after months of blackmail.
