Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has been transferred to a secure location as a security measure following the death of Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah. Khamenei has been moved to a place with heightened security measures inside the country.
Hassan Nasrallah was killed in a targeted strike by Israel on south Beirut on Friday. The Iran-backed group is yet to issue any statement on Nasrallah’s status, who had been its leader for 32 years.
According to news agency Reuters, Iran was in constant contact with Lebanon’s Hezbollah and other regional groups to decide the next step after Israel announced that it had killed Hezbollah chief.
