Sobhita Dhulipala’s younger sister, Samanta Dhulipala, shares the same name as Naga Chaitanya’s ex-wife.

Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala are gearing up for their wedding festivities, set to culminate in a grand ceremony on December 4 at Annapurna Studios, Hyderabad. This marks Chaitanya’s second marriage, following his split from Samantha Ruth Prabhu in 2021. Interestingly, Sobhita’s younger sister, Samanta Dhulipala, shares the same name as Chaitanya’s ex-wife. Recently, heartwarming pictures from Sobhita’s haldi ceremony surfaced, capturing the moment Samanta applied haldi to the bride-to-be.
While Sobhita has shared several pictures from her special day, giving fans a glimpse of her pre-wedding celebrations, Samanta, on the other hand, also posted some previously unseen photos from the Raata Sthapana and Mangala Snanam ceremonies. In the images, the sisters are seen laughing and enjoying the festivities together. The Made in Heaven stars’ sister also posted pictures of Sobhita in traditional attire, looking stunning in beautiful jewellery. In the caption, Samanta simply wrote, “Healthy.”
While Sobhita Dhulipala is a successful actress, Samanta Dhulipala is a doctor and works as an attending consultant at Max Healthcare in New Delhi. According to the hospital’s website, she specializes in fetal medicine, high-risk pregnancy scans, twin pregnancies and managing structural abnormalities.
Back in August, when Sobhita and Naga Chaitanya got engaged, Chay’s father and superstar, Nagarjuna, speaking with Times Now, shared his excitement. He said, “He is very happy. So am I. It has not been an easy time for Chay or the family. The separation (from Samantha) left him very depressed. My boy doesn’t show his feelings to anyone. But I knew he was unhappy. To see him smile again, Sobhita and Chay make a wonderful couple. They love each other dearly. My son is a gem of a boy. He deserves happiness. I am very proud that both my sons have turned out to be fine men.”
Speaking about her daughter-in-law, the actor said, “Chay got to know Sobhita two years ago. But I have known her for six years. I saw her in Adivi Sesh’s film Goodachari and liked her work. I told her that. From then on, we have had many discussions on cinema, life, and philosophy. Sobhita is a very well-informed girl. Pray for Chay and Sobhita to be happy together forever. I know they love each other deeply. Pray that the love remains.”
Sobhita Dhulipala last appeared in the OTT movie, Love, Sitara, where she shared the screen with Rajeev Siddhartha and Sonali Kulkarni.
