At the OTT Awards 2024 event, Vedang Raina stole the spotlight with his stylish appearance.

The 5th edition of the Filmfare OTT Awards 2024 turned into a star-studded affair with Bollywood’s brightest stars walking the red carpet. Kareena Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Alaya F, Sonakshi Sinha, Rajkummar Rao, Sanya Malhotra, and Huma Qureshi brought their A-game to the glamorous night. However, it was rising star Vedang Raina who truly stole the spotlight. The Jigra actor made a statement in a chic black oversized blazer paired with a waistcoat and tailored pants, exuding effortless style. The evening became even more memorable for Vedang as he clinched the Best Debut Award for his stellar performance in The Archies.
Vedang thrilled his fans as he was captured smiling brightly and posing for the paparazzi. In his debut film, The Archies, directed by Zoya Akhtar, the young actor shared the screen with Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, Mihir Ahuja, Aditi Saigal, and Yuvraj Menda. Although the movie brought together talented newcomers, Vedang’s performance made him a standout star.
While Vedang Raina won an OTT award for his performance in The Archies, he also shared his thoughts on his favourite character and film on OTT in a conversation with Zoom. Speaking with the portal, he said, “Diljit Dosanjh’s Amar Singh Chamkila moved me the most, he is an international musician and an amazing actor, what a great work.”
In the same conversation, Vedang further mentioned that he has always wanted to play a musician. When asked if there was any character he wished he could have played, the actor explained that there are many roles that inspire him daily, but a musician is his all-time favourite. He particularly mentioned Rockstar. Vedang recommended The Monster, a Japanese movie he recently watched and enjoyed. He praised the film for its quality and encouraged everyone to watch it.
Vedang Raina’s debut film was a live-action adaptation of The Archies comics, where he brought Reggie Mantle’s character to life. He recently appeared in Vasan Bala’s directorial Jigra and played the role of Alia Bhatt’s younger brother.
