Zypp Electric, a leading name in India’s EV-as-a-service sector, has marked a huge achievement in sustainable delivery.
The company has completed an impressive 20.5 million zero-emission deliveries in the past year.
Zypp now handles around 15-20 percent of all quick commerce orders in the Delhi-NCR region.
The quick commerce market in India is booming, valued at $60-70 billion, with projections suggesting it could reach $25-55 billion by 2030. Companies like Zypp Electric are playing a key role in this growth by providing quality, reliable delivery partners, improving delivery consistency, and reducing carbon emissions for businesses.
Partnerships Driving Green Progress
Through collaborations with top quick commerce platforms like Zepto, Blinkit, Big Basket Now (BBNow), and Instamart, Zypp Electric has cut carbon emissions by a staggering 2.5 million kilograms.
- Zepto: 10.4 million deliveries; 1.19 million kg carbon reduction
- Blinkit: 7.19 million deliveries; 829,000 kg carbon reduction
- BBNow: 2.76 million deliveries; 422,000 kg carbon reduction
- Instamart: 215,000 deliveries; 72,251 kg carbon reduction
Zypp’s platform has also been a game-changer for gig economy workers, with top delivery partners earning up to Rs 99,949 a month.
Zypp is gearing up to deliver its 21 millionth order, with Co-founder and CEO Akash Gupta leading the charge. This milestone highlights the rising demand for carbon-free deliveries and reinforces Zypp’s commitment to sustainability.
Akash Gupta expressed, “As we move forward, we are excited to lead the charge in making electric deliveries the norm in India, and I would personally cherish delivering the 21st million delivery landmark myself with my leadership team.”
