JSW MG Motor India has unveiled its new luxury brand channel, MG Select, with an exclusive teaser for the upcoming MG Cyberster – the world’s fastest MG roadster.
Designed with precision by former Italian F1 engineer Marco Fainello, the Cyberster promises an exhilarating driving experience with its top-notch acceleration and deceleration.
Paying tribute to the iconic MG B Roadster of the 1960s, it blends nostalgic design with advanced technology for a truly unique ride. Powered by a dual-motor system, the MG Cyberster boasts an impressive 503 bhp (510 PS) and 725 Nm of torque, offering rapid acceleration and remarkable speed.
Its advanced motor design includes an 8-layer flat wire winding and a waterfall oil-cooling system, enabling the car to perform at high temperatures. This setup boosts power output, efficiency, and reliability, making it a standout in electric performance cars.
The roadster is equipped with a front double wishbone and rear five-link independent suspension, offering smooth traction and stability with a 50:50 front-to-rear weight distribution. Its aerodynamic Kammback design enhances stability, reduces body roll, and ensures a safer, sportier driving experience.
The Cyberster also debuts India’s first electric scissor doors, equipped with dual radar sensors for added safety. These doors include an anti-pinch bounce-back mechanism to protect passengers while opening or closing.
With exclusive centres in 12 cities, MG Select aims to deliver environmentally conscious mobility paired with timeless design.
