Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Leaks: Samsung is gearing up to unveil its highly anticipated new Galaxy S series smartphones at its upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event, scheduled for January 22. As the excitement surrounding the launch continues to build, a fresh leak has surfaced, offering a glimpse into the advanced camera features that could be included with the flagship Galaxy S25 Ultra.

According to the leak by Ahmed Qwaider, the device is expected to support high-resolution video recording, enabling users to capture videos with superior clarity and less noise. This is a significant upgrade over previous models and is likely to enhance users’ overall video recording experience.

In addition to the video improvements, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is rumoured to feature an enhanced macro mode. The ultra-wide-angle camera is said to offer a fourfold improvement in the quality of macro shots, making it easier to capture fine details with greater precision. Another exciting feature that might be included is an auto-eraser tool designed to remove unwanted sounds from videos, further refining the overall recording quality.

As for the camera setup itself, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to retain the quad rear camera configuration seen in its predecessor, with a potential upgrade to a 200-megapixel primary sensor, which would provide even more impressive image resolution. These upgrades indicate that Samsung is aiming to further improve the photographic and videography capabilities of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, making it an appealing choice for users who prioritize advanced camera features in a smartphone.

Further, the tipster added that Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will have a higher screen colour and brightness rate of 43 per cent. The upcoming smartphone might have LOG video support that lets users capture videos in RAW colours.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra: Specifications (Expected)

Based on previous leaks, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to feature similar camera hardware to that of the Galaxy S24 Ultra from the previous year. The rear camera setup could include a 200-megapixel primary sensor, a 10-megapixel 3x telephoto lens, a 50-megapixel 5x telephoto lens, and an improved 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, offering a versatile and powerful photography experience.

In terms of display, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is likely to come with a 6.86-inch Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X screen. This display is expected to offer a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and an impressive peak brightness of 2,600 nits, ensuring vibrant visuals and smooth scrolling. Under the hood, the device is rumoured to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and will likely come in multiple configurations, including 12GB of RAM paired with 256GB of storage, 16GB of RAM with 512GB of storage, and 16GB of RAM with a massive 1TB of storage.

Battery-wise, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to feature a 5,000mAh battery, supporting 45W wired charging and 25W wireless charging, allowing for fast power-ups. The official unveiling of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, along with the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+, is scheduled for January 22 at Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event in San Jose. Pre-reservations for the new Galaxy S series smartphones are already live in India, building anticipation for their release.
