Her seamless shift from spending time on her own to becoming a doting parent for the toddler is nothing short of inspirational. But Dhrasti made sure to make the most out of her time and keep her fans entertained with snippets of her everyday life. Recently, Dhrasti shared a reel giving her hilarious take on how motherhood is a long journey and she even has to make adjustments while celebrating her birthday this year.
As she celebrates her birthday on January 10, Dhrasti shared a reel where she can be heard lip syncing the trendy dialogue, “Remember when you were pregnant and you thought giving birth was the hardest part.” This was followed by a laugh indicating that raising a child is even more difficult. She also held a alcohol bottle suggesting how as a new mother she is unable to party on the special day and hilariously cried, “Help!” In the caption, she wrote, “I guess…alcohol you later? PS : No drinks were consumed after this reel was shot!”
While many of her fans wished her in the comments section, some of her industry friends reacted to the funny reel. Aditi Dev Sharma dropped several laughing face emojis while Karan Singh Grover wrote, “You’re looking so cutee mamma!!!”
Some days back, Dhrasti Dhami shared how she welcomed New year’s this time with her daughter. The actress took to social media to share a heartwarming video of herself and her kid, whom she hugged tightly. Drashti lovingly wished her Instagram family a Happy New Year while a sweet melody plays in the background. She also shared a heartfelt note about beginning the New Year as a mother. She wrote, “Entering 2025 means saying goodbye to the year I became your MOM. First smile, First blabber, First bath. But this is just the start of making memories. Thank you for choosing me Leela. GRATEFUL. Happy 2025 everyone.”
Drashti Dhami and Niraj Khemka were married on February 21, 2015, in a traditional Hindu ceremony. After 10 years of marriage, Drashti announced her pregnancy in June 2024 and welcomed their daughter Leela on October 22. On the work front, she was last seen in Duranga, a thriller series based on the Korean drama Flower of the Evil. Goldie Behl created the series, which starred Gulshan Devaiah and Amit Sadh in important roles and premiered on the OTT channel Zee5.
