Faisal Shaikh was papped outside the sets of Celebrity Masterchef and immediately won hearts with his affectionate action towards a street dog.

Faisal Shaikh, aka Faisu, is currently shooting for Sony TV’s upcoming cooking reality show Celebrity Masterchef. Known for his engaging and entertaining videos on TikTok and other social media platforms, Faisu already has a huge fanbase of 33.2 million followers on Instagram. Besides his charming personality and relatable content, he is loved for his humble attitude. Proof of this was found in his recent appearance outside the sets of the show when he mistakenly stepped on a street dog.
In a video shared by a pap page on Instagram, Faisu posed with his Celebrity Masterchef co-contestants for the shutterbugs present inside the Mumbai Film City. In the same clip, we can also spot Dipika Kakar, Rajiv Adatia, Archana Gautam, Usha Nadkarni and Abhijeet Sawant alongside Faisu. After posing for the lens, as Faisu was making a turn, he mistakenly stepped on a street dog, leaving others shocked by the incident. However, the actor soon articulated his emotions and was seen affectionately approaching the dog. He then embraced the street animal and was seen cuddling with it, which won the hearts of his millions of fans.
Soon after the video was posted online, netizens started reacting to the same. One user, who was impressed by Faisu’s action towards the street animal, wrote, “Now this is the way a human reacts like a human. So kind and gentle on his trip over an innocent animal.” Another commented, “Those who respect animals are good because animals don’t give you anything back they simply love.” Someone said, “Mr. Faisu respect button.”
Meanwhile, a section of netizens weren’t happy with the video and posted mean comments mentioning that it was simply an act put up by the actor. One comment read, “People have learned how to behave on camera!” Another person added, “Overacting in front of the camera.” While a user mentioned “Scripted,” another one said, “Dikhawa (Show off).”
On the work front, Faisu is known for his appearance in films like A Billion to One (2017), Uma and Devan Namaste! (2017) and Patang (2011). The actor also participated in the reality shows, including Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi season 12 and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 10. Besides this, he was seen in his web series, Bang Baang in 2021 and many music videos.
Faisu’s upcoming show, Celebrity Masterchef, will be judged by Ranveer Brar, Vikas Khanna and Farah Khan. In addition to the actor, Dipika Kakkar, Tejasswi Prakash, Rubina Dilaik, Rahul Vaidya, Gaurav Khanna and many other celebrities will also be part of the show.
