Munawar Faruqui, comedian and Bigg Boss 17 winner, turned a year older on January 28. To mark the occasion, he hosted a grand birthday bash in Mumbai where several renowned TV celebs marked their presence in stylish attires. Among them was popular TV couple Karan Kundrra and Tejasswi Prakash, who grabbed eyeballs with their stunning appearances. Several pictures and videos of the duo from the gala event have now surfaced on social media.
In one such video, both Karan and Tejasswi are seen posing for the shutterbugs stationed at the location. As it proceeds, we see the duo walking hand-in-hand. The Bigg Boss 15 winner looked gorgeous in an all-black outfit. She wore a waistcoat and teamed it up with matching pants and heels. Karan, on the other hand, opted a black-and-white shirt with trousers.
Fans were quick to share their reactions to the video. An Instagram user wrote, “Power couple #tejran.” Another person commented, “Favourite couple.” One of them added, “My favourite.”
Apart from them, other celebs who arrived for Munawar’s birthday bash included Shiv Thakre, Sana Makbul, Paras Kulwant, Aly Goni and Jasmin Bhasin among others.
On the work front, Karan was last seen in the cooking-based reality show Laughter Chefs: Unlimited Entertainment Season 1 which went off air in October last year. Hosted by Bharti Singh, the show garnered much praise from the audience. The actor is yet to announce his next project.
Tejasswi, on the other hand, currently appears on the cooking reality show Celebrity Master Chef. Hosted by Farah Khan, it features a star-studded lineup including Gaurav Khanna, Nikki Tamboli, Dipika Kakar, Faisal Shaikh aka Mr Faisu, Rajiv Adatia, Abhijeet Sawant, Usha Nandkarni, Kabita Singh, Archana Gautam and Chandan Prabhakar.
Karan and Tejasswi first met inside the Bigg Boss 15 house as housemates. Soon after, they developed a close friendship, which eventually bloomed into romance.
Apart from them, star chefs Vikas Khanna and Ranveer Brar have taken up the role of judges in the reality show. Celebrity MasterChef went on-air on January 27 and premiered on Sony TV.
