KTM has officially launched the 2025 390 Adventure X, now listed on KTM India’s website.

The 390 Adventure X is a touring-oriented version of the standard 390 Adventure. It features a 19-inch front tyre and alloy wheels, maintaining the same striking design but missing a few premium features. These include cornering traction control, cornering ABS, cruise control, and multiple riding modes.

Despite these omissions, the 390 Adventure X still boasts impressive features. These include a bi-directional quickshifter, off-road ABS, ride-by-wire throttle, and a five-inch H50 TFT colour display with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. The bike also gets full LED lighting and an LED projector headlamp.

While the standard 390 Adventure comes with fully adjustable suspension, the X version uses non-adjustable WP Apex front forks and a preload-adjustable monoshock, as per Bikewale. However, both versions offer a generous suspension travel of 200mm at the front and 205mm at the rear. The X version is still expected to be a strong performer off-road.

The 390 Adventure X has an accessible saddle height of 825mm and a ground clearance of 227mm. With a fuel tank capacity of 14.5 litres, it offers a real-world range of approximately 300-350km per tank. Weighing in at 182kg, it is 14kg lighter than the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450.

Under the hood, the 390 Adventure X is powered by a 399cc single-cylinder LC4c engine, delivering 45.3 bhp at 8,500rpm and 39 Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. This liquid-cooled engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox and PASC slipper clutch, providing smooth and punchy performance.

The KTM 390 Adventure X is expected to be priced at around Rs. 2.90 lakh (ex-showroom) in India and is likely to go on sale in the coming days, with deliveries beginning by the end of February 2025.
