As the country marks the auspicious festival of Basant Panchami and Saraswati Puja, celebrities are no different. Anupamaa fame Rupali Ganguly shared a series of pictures from the festivities. Rupali dropped several happy snaps from the sets of Anupamaa. In the pictures, she was seen posing with her husband Ashwin K. Verma and son Rudransh. The actress was also joined by her Anupamaa co-star Alpana Buch and director Anurag Basu.
The Sarabhai vs Sarabhai actress also expressed her excitement for the day and gave a glimpse into the festivities. She wrote, “Saraswati Pujo, Basant Panchami. Officially mere favorite colour yellow ka din. Aaj ka din started with Pujo at our Pujo Baadi, then at Dada Baadi and then Baa ki suputri ki Sagai and finally mera Anupamaa ka set.”
She noted that celebrations took place in a rush, but the happiness would linger till the next Pujo meet. “Bolo bolo Shoroshoti maa ki joi”, the actress added. Mentioning another reason for her happiness, she noted that it was her aunt’s birthday.
For Basant Panchami, Rupali chose a vibrant yellow saree with a bright pink border. She paired the ethnic outfit with a matching pink embroidered blouse. The actress wore just the right amount of makeup, complimenting her lovely look with a bindi.
Rupali’s post soon caught the attention of fans and her industry colleagues. Mehul Nisar, who plays Rupali’s brother in Anupamaa, dropped hearts in the comments. Rupali’s real-life brother Vijay Ganguly has also reacted to the post. He wrote, “Missed it” along with heart emojis.
A fan wrote, “Most hardworking actress clearly”, while another noted, “You always every celebration special with your beautiful pictures. Wish you a blessed Saraswati Puja.”
Rupali Ganguly often shares engaging content on social media giving fans a glimpse into her life and work. On Sunday, she shared a fun behind-the-scenes video from Anupamaa sets where she could be seen dancing to Daler Mehndi’s Sajan Mere Satrangiya while the show’s directors explained a scene to her. The amusing video was captioned with “When my directors try to explain an emotionally intense scene to me. But mera dimag kal hone wale song shoot pe hai.” (But my mind is on tomorrow’s song shoot).
