In a new twist to the buzz, Bollywood’s Mr Perfectionist, Aamir Khan, has announced that he will be hosting a special screening of the film for none other than cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar and his family. This event is bound to add even more intrigue and anticipation for fans.

Earlier, superstar Aamir Khan shared his admiration for cricketer and friend Sachin Tendulkar. In a video shared by the Indian cricket board (BCCI), Aamir Khan also talked about the memorable matches he has witnessed at the Wankhede Stadium and his love for Indian cricket.

Aamir said, “I think the most memorable match for me was when Sachin retired (in 2013). I was here for that game also, Sachin is someone I have been a huge, huge fan of. I think the one person I really look up to is Sachin. He is my No. 1 favourite cricketer and always will be.”

Speaking about Aamir Khan’s cinematic front, the actor was last seen in Laal Singh Chaddha alongside Kareena Kapoor. He is now gearing up for the theatrical release of his film Sitaare Zameen Par. The film, set to hit theatres on December 25, stars him alongside Genelia Deshmukh. Aamir will be reuniting with Darshal Safary in the film after Taare Zameen Par.

Other than this, Aamir Khan is also backing Rajkumar Santoshi’s directorial, Lahore 1947. Headlined by Sunny Deol, the film marks the comeback of Preity Zinta to the silver screens. This much-anticipated project also features Shabana Azmi, Ali Fazal and Karan Deol.
