A 24-year-old man was gobbled up by a humpback whale when, he was kayaking with his father in Bahia El Aguila, Chile. The moment was captured by the kayaker’s father, in the video, the whale can be seen surfacing in the Strait of Magellan where Adrian Simancas was for a few seconds before spitting him out.
Adrian Simancas, 24, was briefly swallowed by a humpback whale while kayaking with his father, Dell, off Punta Arenas, Chile. The whale emerged from the water, engulfing Adrian & his kayak. He was then spat out back into the sea

According to a CNN report, Adrian’s father Dell, yells and instructs him to grab the boat. Adrian who has been flipped, out of the kayak swims towards his dad’s pack raft and holds onto it as they pull away.
Adrian explained what it felt like to be briefly engulfed by a humpback whale.
Adrian told CNN that when he turned around, he felt something “slimy” on his face. “I saw colors like dark blue, white, something approaching from behind that closed… and sank me,” he said.

He said he believed, that he thought there was nothing he could do and that he was going to die. Within seconds he was back in the water, which is when he understood what happened. Meanwhile, his father, Dell, said that he had begun recording when he saw pretty waves.
He then heard “strong waves hitting behind” him, and when he turned to see Adrian he was gone and so was his raft, as he started to get worried second later Adrian “shot up up to the surface and the pack raft after him.”
According to CNN, when asked if both father and son would go back to kayaking, they said in chorus: “Of course.”
