Samarth Jurel shared his daily salary for Udaariyaan and Maitree with Elvish Yadav on his podcast.

Currently winning hearts with his personality on Laughter Chefs 2, Samarth Jurel has become a popular figure in entertainment with a significant fan following. While Samarth rose to fame after his appearance on Bigg Boss 17, he initially worked in Sargun Mehta and Ravi Dubey’s show Udaariyaan. In his latest podcast appearance, the actor revealed his compensation for his first few projects.
In a conversation with Elvish Yadav for his podcast, Samarth Jurel shared his per-day payments for his first show, Udaariyaan, and his second daily soap Maitree. Talking about his first show, Samarth stated, “Mera toh bohot kam tha yaar (Mine was very less). It was Rs 5,000 in my first show, Udaariyaan.” Sharing how much he earned in his second show, Maitree, Samarth Jurel stated, “In the second show, it was Rs 10,000 per day.” Elvish Yadav praised Samarth, noting that it is still a large sum to make every day. Samarth explained that because he had just started, his earnings were comparatively lower than other actors.
Samarth Jurel started his career in showbiz with Udaariyaan. In the show, he co-starred with Isha Malviya, Abhishek Kumar, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, and a few others. Samarth and Isha also developed a romantic relationship during its shoot reportedly. However, Isha had declared herself single during her stint on Bigg Boss 17 and was caught off guard when Samarth made a wild card entry in the show. Currently, the 23 year old actor is paired with his former co-star Abhishek Kumar on Laughter Chefs 2.
Aside from the cooking show, the actor recently made waves by signing Ekta Kapoor’s upcoming OTT show, which would also include Kanika Mann and Harsh Rajput in pivotal roles. Confirming the news, he told Times Now, “Yes, I am doing Ekta Kapoor ma’am next show. But I can’t reveal more details about it. I can’t reveal the details about the platform either. Yes, I am very excited about it. Right now, I am focusing on Laughter Chefs 2. Once I start working on the OTT project, I can only share more details about it.” He was reportedly approached for Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 as well but declined at the last minute due to health issues.
