Apoorva Mukhija aka Rebel Kid Snubbed By Nadaaniyan Cast Amid Ranveer Allahbadia Controversy?

India’s Got Latent, a YouTube show hosted by comedian Samay Raina, has recently sparked controversy following a particular episode featuring guests Ranveer Allahbadia and social media influencer Apoorva Mukhija, aka Rebel Kid. While most of the backlash has been directed at Ranveer Allahbadia, aka BeerBiceps, Apoorva Mukhija’s remarks have also stirred major criticism.

Apoorva Mukhija aka Rebel Kid snubbed by Nadaaniyan cast?

Amid the ongoing controversy, Apoorva Mukhija appeared in Ibrahim Ali Khan’s debut film ‘Nadaaniyan’, alongside Khushi Kapoor, which has been released on Netflix. Fans were excited to see influencers Agasthya Shah and Apoorva Mukhija (Rebel Kid) in the film. While Agasthya attended the premiere and has been sharing pictures with the cast, Apoorva has remained silent, possibly due to her ongoing legal issues.

Apoorva was noticeably absent from the film’s premiere and has not posted any behind-the-scenes images from the set. Agasthya Shah took to Instagram to share behind-the-scenes photos from the ‘Nadaaniyan’ shoot, tagging Ibrahim Ali Khan, Khushi Kapoor, Neel Raj Dewan, Aaliyah Qureishi, Dev Agasteya, and director Shauna Gautam. Although the image included Apoorva, he chose not to tag the influencer.

Nadaaniyan review

The ABP Live review of Nadaaniyan reads: The film was released without much promotion, possibly because even the makers knew what a disaster it was. Surprisingly, the biggest weakness here isn’t just the performances of the lead actors. Even if they were average, the movie could have worked with a solid script. But ‘Nadaaniyan’ lacks an engaging story altogether. How long will we get films that serve as mere launchpads for star kids? While Suniel Shetty, Dia Mirza, and Jugal Hansraj provide some respite, they are wasted in minor roles.

India’s Got Latent controversy

Meanwhile, Ranveer Allahbadia and Apoorva Mukhija submitted written apologies to the National Commission for Women (NCW) for their offensive remarks made on India’s Got Latent. Panel chairperson Vijaya Rahatkar confirmed the submission on Friday.

Several FIRs were filed against Ranveer Allahbadia, aka BeerBiceps, for his comments about parents and sex. Although the Supreme Court gave him temporary protection from arrest, it called his remarks “vulgar” and said he had a “dirty mind” that harmed society.
