To celebrate the fifth anniversary of his short film, Nakuul Mehta shared a sweet post on Instagram.

Nakuul Mehta and Sanaya Irani teamed up for the first time in 2020 for a short film called Ved And Arya. The story kicks off with Ved putting his baby daughter to sleep, followed by the arrival of Arya in the absence of Ved’s wife. While the situation may seem like they are having an affair, the truth is that they are siblings. Arya arrives his house as she has an important message for Ved, which becomes the heart of the story. To celebrate the fifth anniversary of the short film, Nakuul shared a sweet post on his Instagram story, where he admired the team behind the project.
Nakuul’s post, originally shared by his fan page, included glimpses of his and Sanaya’s moments from the short film with a simple text, “5 years of Ved And Arya.” He also tagged the team members, including director Ritesh Menon and Sanaya, and appreciated their efforts by saying, “Made by some good folks.”
During the time, Nakuul Mehta, speaking about the short film with Urban Asian, said, “I feel that with Ved and Arya, it fell in to place in a beautiful manner as we ended up having a great time making it with friends. Albeit our first time working together, Sanaya and I had a great time working with dear friend and storyteller extraordinaire, Ritesh Menon, who has directed the film in association with TTT. Sanaya and I have known each other since much before we both made our TV debuts, hence this simple film was the perfect opportunity for us to partner.”
Sanaya Irani added, “Working on this film was a fabulous experience. We had so much fun all through. What was incredibly joyful was the vibe and the energy of working with such creatively charged minds. I’m so glad to be Arya. It’s a sweet film with a big heart. This project is special for more reasons than one as this film is full of firsts for me. This includes working with Nakuul who has been a friend for so many years now.”
