Mahindra has started delivering the BE 6 electric SUV across India.
The car was launched in November last year, with prices starting from Rs 18.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
Built on the INGLO platform, the BE 6 comes with two battery options – 59 kWh and 79 kWh. The smaller battery offers a range of up to 682 km and powers an electric motor producing 225 bhp and 380 Nm of torque. The larger battery is paired with a single motor generating 277 bhp and 380 Nm.
The BE 6 is the first model under Mahindra’s new BE sub-brand. Its design takes inspiration from the BE.05 concept, featuring a bold front end, sleek LED headlights, and a sporty stance. At the rear, it has connected LED taillights, a split spoiler, and stylish 19-inch aero wheels.
Inside, the BE 6 is packed with premium features, including dual 12.3-inch screens for the digital driver’s display and infotainment system. It also gets a two-spoke steering wheel, an augmented reality head-up display, wireless charging, dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, and a powered driver’s seat with memory function. For entertainment, it boasts a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, 5G connectivity, and built-in Wi-Fi.
