In Saudi Arabia, Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on Sunday, March 30, following the successful sighting of the crescent moon, which varies from country to country. In New Jersey, Masjid Bilal confirmed that Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on March 30.
In Iran and Pakistan, the celebration will be done on March 31. Pakistan’s national space agency, SUPARCO, has predicted that the crescent moon will be sighted on the evening of March 30.
The UAE is set to observe the crescent moon on March 29, 2025, marking the 29th day of Ramadan. If the moon is sighted, the country will officially celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr on March 30, 2025, aligning with Saudi Arabia. Qatar has also officially announced that Sunday, March 30, 2025, will mark the first day of Eid-Al Fitr.
Amid the celebration timing by several countries, India still awaits the confirmation. The festival is likely to be celebrated on either March 31 or April 1, depending on the moon’s sighting.
