At the Summit, PM Modi and Thailand PM Paetongtarn Shinawatra held bilateral talks to focus on deepening political exchange, defence, and trade engagement between India and Thailand.

Thai PM Shinawatra presented the ‘Pali Tipitaka’ to PM Modi during his visit. “It is a truly beautiful language, with the teachings of Buddha at its core,” PM Modi said after receiving the gift. (X@narendramodi)

At the BIMSTEC Summit, PM Modi highlighted the strategic connectivity and mutual growth that all the BIMSTEC countries can contribute to one another for the benefit of their people.

PM Modi was also audience to a cultural performance depicting phases from the Ramayan. “It was a truly enriching experience that beautifully showcased the shared cultural and civilisational ties between India and Thailand,” PM Modi said. (X@narendramodi)
