The main highlight is the new Ice Fluo Vermillion colour for the top-spec S variant, replacing the old Grey Vermillion shade.
The Yamaha Aerox 155 now competes directly with the newly launched Hero Xoom 160 in the Indian market.
Yamaha has launched the 2025 version of its sporty scooter, the Aerox 155, in India.
While the engine and performance remain unchanged, the scooter now looks fresher and meets the latest OBD-2B emission norms, as per Autocar.
What’s New?
One of the biggest changes is a brand-new colour option for the higher-end S variant – Ice Fluo Vermillion, and it replaces the older Grey Vermillion option.
The popular Racing Blue variant also gets some new graphics. Meanwhile, the base model is still available in Metallic Black.
Engine Specifications
Yamaha has kept the tried-and-tested 155cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, which continues to produce 14.75 bhp and 13.9 Nm of torque.
The real update here is that the engine is now aligned with the OBD-2B emission rules, making it cleaner and more environment-friendly.
Features
The S variant was upgraded last year with keyless ignition, which continues for 2025. The standard variant stays the same but still packs plenty of smart features:
- LED headlamp and taillight
- Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster
- Single-channel ABS
Price
With the updates, Yamaha has also increased the prices:
- The base model now costs Rs 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom), up by Rs 3,000.
- The S variant is priced at Rs 1.53 lakh (ex-showroom), which is Rs 2,000 more than before.
The Yamaha Aerox 155 now competes directly with the newly launched Hero Xoom 160 in the Indian market.
