SwaRail, now available for both Android and iOS, is not just a replacement — it’s a major upgrade. Developed by the Centre for Railway Information System (CRIS), SwaRail is currently in its beta testing phase (version 127).
Apart from reserved ticket booking, it also allows:
- Booking unreserved (UTS) and platform tickets
- Checking real-time train status
- Ordering food on the train
- Tracking parcels and freight services
- Accessing rail-related help and support
It even supports online catering and integrates AI tools to offer a smarter, more personal experience.
