The festival of Navratri is dedicated to Goddess Durga. During the nine days of Navratri, her nine divine forms are worshipped with devotion and enthusiasm. Navratri is celebrated four times a year: Sharadiya Navratri, Chaitra Navratri, and two Gupt Navratris. Among these, the Ashadh Gupt Navratri holds special significance for spiritual seekers and is observed during the month of Ashadh.
During this time, devotees perform Tantra-Mantra Sadhana and worship the ten Mahavidyas of Goddess Durga. Gupt Navratri begins every year on the Pratipada Tithi of Shukla Paksha in the month of Ashadh.
Well-known astrologer from Deoghar, Jharkhand, Pandit Nandkishore Mudgal, told Local18 that this year, Ashadh Gupt Navratri will begin on June 26 and conclude on July 5.
He added that Gupt Navratri is considered ideal for Tantra Sadhana. Chanting the 108 names of Goddess Durga during this period is believed to yield powerful results, remove sorrows, and end ongoing crises.

According to the Hindu Panchang, the auspicious time for Ghatsthapana is from 5:12 am to 7:43 am on June 26.
