The leading tech giant Xiaomi has finally unveiled its first electric SUV called YU7. The company is all set to announce the launch-related details in July this year. Once officially released, the company might start accepting bookings for the same.
According to the details, the newly introduced YU7 has been created using the company’s Modena platform. It measures 4999 mm in length, 1996 mm in width, and 1608 mm in height. It also has a decent wheelbase of 3000 mm.
It will be available in a total of nine colour options. The list will include green, inspired by Colombian emeralds, orange and metallic titanium finishes.
Exterior Details
Aesthetically, it comes with an aggressive style statement, featuring a fully LED headlight setup, paired with DRLs, and gets a C-shaped light bar at the back. Apart from this, the model will be offered with stylish alloy wheels, ranging from 19-inch to 20-inch.
To make it superior, the YU7 has been given inward-folding electric door handles with impressive ambient lighting. It also gets UWB (Ultra-Wideband), which is supported by smartphone-based keyless entry and boot access.
Interior Details
The interior features a 43-inch-wide “HyperVision” display, which allows customers and front passengers to access everything on their tips. Other notable features include ‘zero gravity’ front seats with a 123-degree recline option, a futuristic multi-functional steering wheel, two cup holders at the front, automatic climate control, and more.
Battery And Range
As far as the powertrain is concerned, it is available in RWD, AWD and Max AWD. The former gets a 96.3 kWh LFP battery with 835 km range, while the other options come with a 96.3 kWh LFP battery and a 101.7 kWh NCM battery with 770 km range and 760 km range, respectively.
