It is considered highly auspicious to observe a fast on this day. Devotees worship Lord Vishnu, Goddess Lakshmi, and also offer prayers to the moon.
According to astrological belief, making donations on this day based on your zodiac sign can invoke the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi. This may lead to financial stability and help remove Chandra Dosh (lunar affliction) from one’s horoscope.

This year, the tithi of Jyeshtha Purnima begins at 11:35 am on Tuesday, June 10, and ends at 1:13 pm on Wednesday, June 11. As per Udaya tithi (the day the moon rises), Jyeshtha Purnima will be observed on 11 June.
