Tejasswi Prakash turned a year older today, June 10. The television actress has garnered a devout fan base by portraying versatile roles in serials like Swaragini – Jodein Rishton Ke Sur, Pehredaar Piya Ki, and Naagin 6. Besides her small screen persona, the 32-year-old has also been part of several Marathi films. Prakash even emerged as a recipient of multiple accolades. Now, on her 32nd birthday, let’s look back at Tejasswi’s foray into the acting world and her love story with television actor Karan Kundrra.
Tejasswi Prakash’s Journey In Television
Tejasswi Prakash began her acting career in 2012 with Life OK’s thriller show 2612. She played the role of Rashmi Bhargava. However, she shot to fame with her stint in Swaragini – Jodein Rishton Ke Sur.
After that, there was no looking back for Tejasswi Prakash. Some of her notable works include Pehredaar Piya Ki, Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya, Karn Sangini, Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka and others.
In 2020, Tejasswi made her reality television debut with the stunt-based show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi season 10, hosted by Rohit Shetty. Despite being a strong contender, Prakash left the show midway after suffering from a severe eye injury. The actress booked a spot in the 6th place.
In the following year, Tejasswi Prakash participated in another popular reality show, Bigg Boss 15 and emerged as the winner.
Later, she was roped in as the protagonist Pratha Gujral, a shape-shifting serpent in Ekta Kapoor’s supernatural soap opera Naagin 6. This became a turning point in her career as she garnered immense appreciation and established herself as one of the highest-paid actresses in the Hindi television industry.
In 2022, Tejasswi Prakash made her Marathi debut in the romantic drama Mann Kasturi Re alongside Abhinay Berde, followed by bagging the role of the lead heroine of another Marathi film, School College Ani Life, the next year.
Tejasswi Prakash’s Love Story
Tejasswi Prakash not only won Bigg Boss 15, but she also found the love of her life at the reality show. Her relationship with Karan Kundrra blossomed inside the BB House in just three weeks of her participation. Since then, the couple has been unabashed about professing their love for each other, sharing lovey-dovey photos on Instagram.
Tejasswi Prakash’s Upcoming Projects
In 2025, Tejasswi Prakash participated in the first season of Celebrity MasterChef India and proved her cooking mettle by emerging as the 2nd runner-up. In the first half of the year, she also partook in other reality shows like Super Dancer, Indian Idol season 15 and Laughter Chefs – Unlimited Entertainment.
Up next, Tejasswi Prakash will be seen in the web series titled Bewafa Tera Masoom Chehra. The romantic drama, directed by Saurabh Tiwari, also features Anud Singh Dhaka in a key role. The actress has already begun shooting for the upcoming project. According to reports, Tejasswi will be playing a grey-shaded character in the series.
