Oben Electric, an Indian electric motorcycle manufacturer driven by research and development, has made a grand entry into Eastern India with the inauguration of its new showroom and service centre in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
This marks a significant milestone for the company, increasing its presence to 37 showrooms across 26 cities. Oben Electric aims to establish over 100 showrooms and service centres nationwide by the end of the year.
Following this launch, the company is preparing to extend its reach to other key cities in the region.

The new showroom is strategically located in the heart of Bhubaneswar, catering to the rising demand for electric motorcycles in the area. Odisha is quickly becoming a promising hub for electric vehicles (EVs), driven by progressive state policies, tax exemptions, and a growing interest in clean mobility. This, coupled with increasing demand for performance-oriented city commuters, makes Bhubaneswar an excellent market for Oben Electric’s expansion.

Inspired by Oben Electric’s flagship experience centre in Bengaluru, the Bhubaneswar showroom offers a futuristic and engaging customer journey. It features four interactive zones: Moto Live, for hands-on product interaction; Moto X, for insights into Oben’s core components and EV technology; Moto Zen, a relaxed space for customer engagement; and Moto Rack, showcasing accessories and exclusive merchandise.
The showroom is supported by Oben Care, a dedicated service centre that provides comprehensive after-sales service, including doorstep service and roadside assistance (RSA) for added convenience. Oben Electric is committed to long-term customer satisfaction by ensuring service readiness and spare parts availability, all enabled by in-house manufacturing of critical components.
Oben Rorr EZ: All You Need To Know
At the centre of this expansion is the Oben Rorr EZ, a high-performance electric motorcycle designed for sustainable city commuting. Fully designed and built in India, the Rorr EZ comes in three battery variants – 2.6 kWh, 3.4 kWh, and 4.4 kWh – and features advanced LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery technology for greater heat resistance and extended battery lifespan.
The motorcycle offers an IDC-certified range of up to 175 km, accelerates from 0–40 km/h in just 3.3 seconds, and reaches a top speed of 95 km/h. It also boasts 80% charging in just 45 minutes, making it both practical and high-performing for daily urban use. The Rorr EZ is available at a starting price of Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom) with an easy down payment of Rs 7,999.

To celebrate the showroom’s launch, Oben Electric is offering a special inaugural benefit. Customers who purchase the Oben Rorr EZ within the first month of the Bhubaneswar showroom opening will receive a complimentary gold coin.
