Jupiter Electric Mobility Pvt. Ltd. (JEM), a part of Jupiter Wagons Ltd., has launched its first showroom in Jayanagar, Bengaluru, introducing the JEM TEZ, a 1.05-tonne 4-wheeler electric light commercial vehicle (eLCV).
This launch aims to serve one of India’s most dynamic urban logistics markets, underscoring JEM’s commitment to supporting India’s shift towards sustainable and clean transportation.
The new showroom in Jayanagar offers a complete experience for potential buyers and fleet operators. It provides sales consultation, service support, financing assistance, and post-purchase engagement. Customers can explore the features of JEM TEZ, interact with trained product specialists, and schedule test drives.
The showroom ensures a smooth and informed buying journey with personalised booking assistance. JEM also has a dedicated service hub in Devanhalli to support customers.
JEM TEZ: All You Need To Know
JEM TEZ is designed to meet the evolving needs of urban logistics. With a certified range of over 190 km, 80kW peak motor power, 23 percent gradeability, and a payload capacity of 1.05 tonnes, it offers high performance, low operating costs, and enhanced reliability. It is ideal for intra-city freight movement, last-mile delivery, and FMCG distribution, where efficiency and emission reduction are key.
Strategic Launch in Bengaluru
Choosing Bengaluru for the launch aligns with JEM’s commercial strategy. Known for its logistics and technology infrastructure, Bengaluru is an ideal market for EVs. The centrally located Jayanagar showroom is easily accessible to fleet operators and logistics firms.
Inauguration Event
The showroom’s inauguration was led by Chief Guest Mr. Shivanand Kalakeri, IRS, Commissioner of Income Tax – DR, Income Tax Appellate Tribunal, alongside JEM’s leadership team, including Mr. Gaurav Jalota (CEO) and Mr. Kartik Hajela (CEO, Battery Division).
Managing Director’s Statement
Mr. Vivek Lohia, Managing Director of Jupiter Group, highlighted the significance of the Bengaluru launch in JEM’s national rollout. He said,”We intend to make commercially sustainable and scalable electric mobility a reality beginning with cities which are at the forefront of India’s EV adoption trajectory.”
Long-Term Strategy and Expansion
JEM is investing in an integrated EV value chain through partnerships with companies like Porter, Pulse Energy, Battwheel, Automovill, and Tapfin. These partnerships support a robust infrastructure for charging, financing, and after-sales service. The JEM Udaan program will also provide business assistance to drivers and owners of JEM TEZ.
