Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to visit the Civil Hospital in Ahmedabad shortly following the tragic Air India plane crash. The crash, which occurred near the Civil Hospital premises, left several injured and many dead. The Prime Minister is likely to meet survivors admitted to wards B7 and C7 on the third floor, including Vishwas Kumar Ramesh—the sole known survivor of the crash, currently on bed number 35. Security has been tightened in and around the hospital. Roads have been cleared, and the police have cordoned off entry points. Modi is expected to spend about 15–20 minutes at the hospital. He will also visit the ICU where 2–3 patients are reported to be in critical condition. Family members of victims have been gathered in a nearby hall and may also meet with the Prime Minister. Authorities are preparing for his arrival through either Gate No. 3 or 4, depending on security clearance. There is also speculation that Modi may meet families staying at a nearby guest house before entering the hospital. Meanwhile, visuals from the crash site show movement of security vehicles, indicating that PM Modi may have already left the scene and is en route to the hospital for his visit.
