JSW MG Motor India has announced that it will increase prices across most of its car models by up to 1.5 percent starting 1st July 2025.
The hike will vary depending on the model and variant, as per NDTV Auto.
According to the company, the decision has been taken due to rising input costs and economic factors.
Current MG Line-Up & Prices
The MG range begins with the Comet EV, priced at Rs 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom), followed by the Windsor EV at Rs 10 lakh. The ICE (internal combustion engine) models start with the Astor at Rs 11.30 lakh. Then comes the Hector at Rs 17.5 lakh, while the top-of-the-line Gloster is priced at Rs 41.07 lakh.
MG’s electric models also come with a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) option, where customers can purchase the car without the battery, making EV ownership more affordable by paying for the battery separately.
Luxury Segment Expansion
MG Motor is preparing to enter the luxury vehicle segment in India. It plans to launch the M9 Limousine, marking its move into the premium car space. Later this year, it will introduce the Cyberster, an all-electric convertible sports car aimed at combining style and high performance.
Exclusive MG Select Dealerships
To support these luxury launches, MG is rolling out a premium dealership experience under a new banner called MG Select. These outlets will offer a more personalised and high-end customer journey for buyers of their flagship models.
MG Majestor: All You Need To Know
The brand has also teased the Majestor, which is expected to be a luxury SUV inspired by the current Gloster. It is likely to join MG’s Indian line-up soon, reflecting the brand’s focus on expanding its premium offerings.
