Having said that, Komaki Electric, a homegrown EV brand, has introduced its latest XR1 series—an ultra-affordable, low-speed electric moped priced at just Rs 29,999 (ex-showroom).

The vehicle comes equipped with a regenerative kinetic energy system. Having said that, this technology allows riders to keep going even after the battery appears drained.

Besides this, it offer a range of 70 to 80 km on a single charge. The moped gets a sleek and modern design. The feature highlights include shock-absorbing suspension, high-grip tyres, dual ergonomic seats, and a handy front basket.
