Terrorism In Jammu and Kashmir: Central Government’s Major Action to Combat

Terrorist attacks in Jammu have increased recently, prompting the army to devise a new strategy. To address the rising infiltration, the Army is readjusting its deployment in the region. Defence sources report that around 500 Para Special Forces commandos have been deployed, with an estimated 50-55 terrorists in the area.

The search operations in Jammu and Kashmir face significant challenges due to the weather. The skies are often cloudy, and the mountainous areas are quickly enveloped in mist, complicating the army’s efforts. Despite these harsh conditions, the army remains resolute, with soldiers actively engaging terrorists and maintaining that they will soon clear the area of insurgents.
