After an intense battle spanning over 100 days, actor Karan Veer Mehra lifted the trophy of Bigg Boss 18 and took home Rs 50 lakh. He scripted history by winning his second consecutive reality show, the first one being the 14th edition of the stunt-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi. After his epic win, Karan hosted a live Instagram session where he interacted with thousands of his fans and well-wishers.
On Tuesday, January 21, Bigg Boss 18 winner Karan Veer Mehra hosted a live session from his car while on the move. Shortly after the session began, his co-contestant and Badhaai Do actress Chum Darang joined in. Karan welcomed his fans to greet Chum and mentioned that she was facing some trouble joining the session.
However, Chum dropped a sweet comment during Karan’s live, where she expressed her gratitude to all the fans. She wrote, “Hi all. Thank you so much for the love you guys have shown us.”
At one point in the session, when fans kept asking the Bigg Boss 18 winner about Chum’s whereabouts, Karan answered, “I have no idea; she is busy making money.”
Moments later, Chum, who was eliminated from Bigg Boss 18 in 5th place, commented on Karan Veer Mehra’s live session, saying, “Okay, this time is for KVM; don’t want to take the limelight away. Bye, bye, guys. Lots of love.” When fans continued to ask about Chum, Karan playfully responded, “She’s home, chilling and making a lot of money. Doing her Instagram reels.”
Furthermore, Karan’s two other co-contestants, Shilpa Shirodkar and Digvijay Singh Rathee, also joined his Instagram live. After a brief chat with the Gopi Kishan actress, Karan proudly showed Shilpa his two trophies, which he had carefully placed in his car. The Mere Dad Ki Maruti actor shared that he always carries the two trophies with him.
Towards the end of the live session, Chum joined it once again, this time with her video on. However, the actress was quite hesitant to come in front of the camera without proper makeup. She could be heard saying, “Humko sharam aa raha hai, hum ready nahi hai na (I’m feeling shy, as I’m not ready).” This prompted Karan to say, “150 camera ke saamne sharam nahi aaya, abhi sharam aa raha hai (You were not shy in front of the 150 cameras, but feeling shy now.)” to Chum with whom he shared a great bond inside the Bigg Boss 18 house.
