Air India, India’s leading airline, has been honoured with two prestigious international awards for its ongoing transformation.
The airline’s Vista Verve in-flight product has won the Good Design Award Australia 2024, while the airline also took home three APEX Awards at the Future Travel Experience (FTE) Awards in Singapore.
Air India’s Vista Verve onboard offering has been recognised with the highly acclaimed Good Design Award Australia 2024. The product, which includes exclusive tableware, Slovakian lead-free glassware, and luxurious linens with premium mattress toppers, is praised for its innovation and design excellence. These elements, especially the tableware and mattress toppers, reflect the airline’s focus on sustainability, comfort, and luxury.
Vista Verve is being gradually introduced across Air India’s network and is currently available on all UK routes, including London Heathrow, London Gatwick, and Birmingham, as well as select US routes like New York, Newark, and Washington.
At the FTE Awards ceremony in Singapore, Air India won three distinguished APEX Awards, showcasing its growing reputation for outstanding global passenger service:
- Four Star Global Airline 2025: Recognised for consistently providing exceptional service across its network.
- Best Cabin Service in Central/Southern Asia: Awarded for Air India’s warm, attentive, and personalised in-flight service.
- Best Food & Beverage in Central/Southern Asia: Celebrating the airline’s exceptional onboard culinary experience.
“Winning on such global platforms stands as testament to the efforts of Air India as we enhance passenger experience and strive towards being a world-class airline,” said Rajesh Dogra, Chief Customer Experience Officer at Air India.
These awards arrive as Air India nears the final phase of its comprehensive transformation under the Vihaan.AI initiative, aimed at a complete airline overhaul.
