Air India announced on Friday that it is extending the suspension of its flights to and from Tel Aviv until May 25, 2025. This follows a missile attack near Tel Aviv airport on May 4, which led the airline to initially suspend flights until May 6, with the suspension later extended to May 8. As the only Indian airline offering direct services to Tel Aviv, Air India typically operates five weekly flights between Delhi and the Israeli city.
In its post on X, the airline confirmed that “our flights to and from Tel Aviv will remain suspended till 25th May 2025.” It also offered affected customers a one-time waiver for rescheduling fees or a full refund for cancellations. On May 4, an Air India flight from Delhi to Tel Aviv was diverted to Abu Dhabi due to the missile attack.
“Our flights to and from Tel Aviv will remain suspended till 25th May 2025. Customers holding valid tickets for travel till 25th May 2025 will be offered a one-time waiver on rescheduling charges or a full refund for cancellations.”
