Neil Bhatt and Aishwarya Sharma‘s wedding was nothing short of a fairytale. The couple exchanged vows in a lavish ceremony in 2021, with only close friends and family present. On her special day, Aishwarya stunned in a breathtaking red-toned lehenga, perfectly accessorised to create an unforgettable bridal look. While she looked absolutely mesmerising in the outfit, the actress recently shared that she fainted during the lehenga trial. In a candid conversation with a media portal, Aishwarya revealed that she had never wanted a heavy lehenga to begin with.
Aishwarya Sharma chose to ditch the heavily embroidered lehengas for a more subtle wedding outfit, driven by her preference for a lightweight traditional look. In an interview with Pinkvilla, she revealed that she wasn’t keen on wearing a heavy designer lehenga. The actress also shared that she had a sleepless night before finalising her wedding lehenga. Aishwarya disclosed that it took her six months to design the lehenga, for which she sourced materials from Indore and Mumbai.
Disclosing that her tailor had not made the outfit for two months, Aishwarya Sharma said, “My time was wasted. My wedding date was approaching. I got anxious because I didn’t have an outfit.” Recalling the day when the tailor arrived at home for the trial of her blouse, the actress shared, “While I was trying the outfit, my blood pressure dropped. I got anxious and realized that I might faint. I rushed to the kitchen and the moment I ate sugar, I fell down in the kitchen. I hit the fridge and fell.”
“Maybe after 5-10 minutes, I gained consciousness. The tailor was sitting outside and he had no idea that I had collapsed,” Aishwarya continued.
In the same conversation, Aishwarya Sharma thoughtfully decoded her wedding outfit. She shared that the fabric selection and intricate embroidery work were inspired by the cultural roots of Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh, reflecting both her and Neil’s origins in these regions.
Earlier, Aishwarya Sharma and Neil Bhatt made headlines due to speculation about their expected parenthood. Reports suggested that the couple would keep the pregnancy private and wouldn’t make an announcement anytime soon. However, Aishwarya took to her Instagram Stories to shut down the rumours, clarifying that she was not pregnant.
