Television actress Aditi Sharma recently revealed why she doesn’t want to divulge many details about her divorce from Abhineet Kaushik.

Aditi Sharma, best known for her role in Apollena – Sapno Ki Unchi Udaan, has been hitting the headlines often for reasons related to her personal life. The actress, who secretly tied the knot with her longtime partner Abhineet Kaushik, is already heading towards divorce. Her estranged husband has levied infidelity accusations on Sharma previously in various media interactions. However, in a recent interview, the actress avoided divulging mudslinging on Kaushik.
In the interaction, Aditi Sharma was asked about her divorce from Abhineet Kaushik within six months of secretly marrying him. For the unversed, it was Kaushik who revealed their marriage by sharing their wedding pictures as proof. He also made a few infidelity accusations against the actress alongside her co-actor Samarthya Gupta. Now, while talking to a news portal, she denied divulging details about all the accusations going around. Sharma said, “I will answer, he (Abhineet) will answer. I don’t want to do that. Main gandagi nahi machana chahti (I don’t want to get involved in mudslinging),” reported Pinkvilla.
The actress mentioned that she is going through a difficult phase. And as this is not a media trial, she prefers to open up only in the court. She continued, “I understand that everybody is understanding well, but I don’t want to say anything on this matter for now because yeh matter court mein jayega aur wahan sab cheezein solve hongi. Jahan bani hai, wahi solve hongi. (This will go to court and be solved there as from where it was all started.)” This was a clear hint that the two got married in a court marriage six months back.
Additionally, Kaushik has levied multiple accusations on the Apollena actress, stating that she asked for Rs 25 lakhs for a divorce settlement. Aditi revealed that her estranged husband has misbehaved with her and her family on many occasions. She even called him ‘insecure,’ and revealed that Kaushik had attached a tracking device to her car.
In another interview with ETimes TV, she also denied asking about the alimony from Kaushik. She revealed that Kaushik’s family brought up the matter, and she has proof about the same which she would show in court. According to the actress, it was her money that was in Kaushik’s account, and she had asked him to return the same.
Aditi Sharma made her acting debut in 2018 with the serial Kaleerein. Her portrayal of Meera Dhingra Kapoor in the soap gained her immense stardom. The actress then played the role of Roshni Choudhary Khan in Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka!, Dua Siddiqui Akhtar in Rabb Se Hai Dua and Apollena in Apollena – Sapno Ki Unchi Udann. She has also been part of other television projects, many music videos and a web series. In 2024, she participated in the reality show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 14.
