The performance-oriented car maker, Aston Martin, has added a new version to the DB12 Volante range, called Palm Beach. The model has been released in partnership with the British marque’s in-house customisation department, Q.

It has been named after one of the most cash-rich localities in Florida. It is considered a perfect one-off open-top grand tourer for its undisclosed client.

Top USP

The top USP about the Palm Beach edition is its impressive and eye-catching paint job. It has been treated with frosted glass blue shade, making it one of the rarest pieces in the segment.

According to the reports, the paint is exclusively used by hand using actual glass flakes, which makes it look no less than a home parked at a yacht club.

To make it more unique, the company has added contrasting pinstripe splitters at the front, while side sills, jet-black diamond-turned wheels, rear bumper, and iconic signature-style grill make it more special.

Interior Details

Jumping inside the cabin, the interior gets an ivory theme with Aurora blue leather upholstery. To make the contrast even better, there is red stitching has been given on the soft-touch material at the dash. There is also a wooden finish element on the dash, door pads and behind the seats as well.

Apart from this, the model also gets the recurring palm-leaf motif embroidered into the seats, armrests, and even the metal sill plates are not spared.

Engine and Power

The company has not revealed if it has received any changes under the hood or not. However, it seems like the latest offering uses the same engine as the standard version. It means the Palm Beach might get 4a .0-litre, twin-turbocharged V8 engine that generates a maximum power of 671 hp of power. These numbers force the car to go from 0 to 96 kmph in 3.4 seconds.
