Audi India has made a major move in electric mobility by expanding its ‘Charge My Audi’ initiative.
The luxury carmaker now offers access to over 6,500 charging points across India, making long drives and daily commutes easier than ever for Audi e-tron owners.
This marks the Phase II rollout of the brand’s charging network – a first in India’s luxury EV segment.
To boost this charging infrastructure, Audi has teamed up with 16 new EV infrastructure partners. Over 75 percent of the charging locations now offer DC fast-charging technology, which means shorter waiting times and more miles covered for Audi e-tron drivers.
These chargers are placed in strategic spots like highways, city centres, and commercial areas—making it easier for owners to take long trips or run daily errands without range anxiety.
Phase II alone has added 5,500+ new charging points, giving wider coverage across 28 states and union territories, in over 850 cities and 4,700+ locations. All of these are integrated with the ‘myAudi Connect’ app, which helps users find real-time charger availability, plan routes, and easily start or stop charging sessions.
Furthermore, Audi India has also extended free charging for all e-tron owners until 31 December 2025. This offer is valid at all partner charging points connected via the myAudi Connect app.
Mr Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India, shared,”The second phase of our ‘Charge My Audi’ initiative marks a major step forward in enhancing the EV ownership experience. Our partners remain integral to this journey, and we look forward to driving the shift toward electric mobility together.”
Audi’s charging initiative is powered by many key players in the EV space. Some of the partners include: Shell India, Adani Total Energies, Statiq, Charge Zone, Relux Electric, and Gentari India.
These collaborations help Audi bring a seamless experience for its EV customers, supported by Numocity Technology’s eMSP platform, which allows live charger updates and smooth integration with public charging stations.
This expansion follows a successful Phase I, which introduced route planning and destination charging hubs. Audi India’s push for EV infrastructure shows its commitment to a cleaner, greener future, especially after a solid 2024 where it celebrated 1 lakh cars on Indian roads and ran the ‘100 Days of Celebration’ campaign.
