The Audi Q7 facelift has been launched in India, with prices starting at Rs 88.66 lakh for the base variant and Rs 97.81 lakh for the higher-spec Q7 Technology model, (all prices, ex-showroom).
This marks the second facelift for the current Q7, which first debuted in 2015. Bookings opened recently, and production is already underway at Audi’s Aurangabad plant.
The updated Q7 made its global debut in January 2024, extending the lifespan of this popular SUV. In terms of design, the facelift gets new OLED headlamps with customisable light signatures (similar to the Q6 e-tron), a redesigned grille with a bold chrome surround, and new bumpers that mirror the Q8 SUV’s style. The Q7 facelift is available in five colours: Sakhir Gold, Waitomo Blue, Mythos Black, Samurai Grey, and Glacier White.
Mr. Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India said, “To date, we have sold over 10,000 Audi Q7’s in India and this is a testament to the continued desire and love to own our flagship that has for many years been the best seller.”
Inside, the Q7 facelift offers two upholstery options: Cedar Brown and Saiga Beige. The dashboard design remains largely unchanged, but the infotainment system and digital instrument cluster have been upgraded. It now features the updated Virtual Cockpit, which includes a lane-change warning system. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are also supported, though they are wired. Overall, the cabin retains a familiar feel, with a few notable enhancements.
Under the bonnet, the Q7 continues to run on a 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 petrol engine that delivers 340 bhp and 500 Nm of torque. It comes paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and Audi’s quattro all-wheel-drive system as standard. Audi claims the Q7 can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 5.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 250 kmph.
The facelifted Audi Q7 remains a three-row luxury SUV, competing against rivals like the BMW X5 (Rs 97 lakh-99 lakh), Mercedes GLE (Rs 97.85 lakh), and Volvo XC90 (Rs 1.01 crore).
