Once the new iX3 will be launched, BMW will release its next-gen i3. It will compete against the all-new Mercedes CLA EV and Tesla Model 3.

The German car manufacturer BMW is all set to push its electric fleet globally with the launch of the first Neue Klasse model. It has been reported that the fleet will be pushed initially by the tech-loaded iX3.
BMW boss Oliver Zipse has already confirmed that the all-new Neue Klasse iX3 will be unveiled in September this year and the curtains will be removed at a motor show in Munich.
It has been revealed by the brand that the “unprecedented ramp-up” is coming as it is gearing up to release over 40 new and updated models. The dead line for the same has been set for 2027.
All About BMW iX3
According to the details, the upcoming EV will be based on the a new “Digital Nervous System, featuring advanced ECU. It i will force the model to offer better range, efficiency, charging speeds, and improved driving expirnece.
The new system will the driving dynamics, increasing the overall efficiency by up to 25 percent. When it comes to the sixth-gen eDrive technology, it will reduces energy loss by up to 40 percent and weight by 10 percent.
Battery
The BMW said that the that vehicle will use cylindrical battery cells, and 800V system will benefit the car by 20 percent higher energy density, 30 percent fast charging capabalties and 30 percent more range. The brand also aims to cut down the battery cost by a decent margin, making the EV more affordable to masses.
