The Chinese carmaker Built Your Dreams, aka BYD, has been putting in efforts to spread its roots in India. The company currently offers three models in the country and now seems like gearing up to enhance the fleet by adding another model in the electric segment.
It has been reported that the company is in the process of releasing its first mini electric car for Indian customers. The company has not revealed or shared any official details about the launch as yet. However, the way testing mule started surfacing on the internet hints that the launch might take place anytime soon.
Design Language?
Going by the spy images, the model looks compact, giving a similar vibe to the MG Comet. Despite being fully covered in heavy camouflage, the EV somehow revealed its style statement, boxy stance, featuring sliding doors at the back. It ditches rounded shapes and flaunts only flat surfaces from every corner.
Overall Size
Talking about overall dimensions, it looks like under 3.4 meters in length and around 1.48 meters in width. The details about the cabin remain unknown as of yet. However, the customers can expect a fully digital cluster and a decent-sized infotainment system, supported by all the wireless car-connect technology.
Expected Battery
When it comes to the specs, again, the details remain under wraps. If rumours are to be believed, the upcoming mini EV might use a 20 kWh battery pack, which might offer a decent range of up to 180 km on a single charge.
