CBI Files Closure Report in Sushant Singh Rajput Case, Rules Death as Suicide; Rhea Cleared


The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed a closure report in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, confirming that the actor died by suicide. The report, submitted to the court, dismisses all allegations of foul play and gives a clean chit to actress Rhea Chakraborty and her family, who were previously accused of abetment to suicide and financial irregularities. The CBI’s findings align with earlier reports by the Mumbai Police and AIIMS forensic team, which ruled out any evidence of murder.Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai apartment on June 14, 2020, sparking nationwide speculation and controversy. Following widespread demands for justice, the case was handed over to the CBI, but no evidence of homicide was found during the investigation.
