Dipika Kakar has always been a devoted daughter, and her latest gesture is proof of it. The television actress, currently winning hearts with her culinary skills on Celebrity MasterChef, recently gifted a house to her mother as a heartfelt token of love. Through her vlogs, she keeps fans updated on her personal and professional journey, reminiscing about their early days in Mumbai when they lived in a PG. Reflecting on the past, Dipika expressed gratitude for how beautifully life has changed for them.
In her vlog, Dipika Kakar reminisced about the struggles she and her mother faced in the beginning when they shifted to Mumbai. She said, “Mamma and I would live in PGs. It was difficult for me back then. I remember when I came to Mumbai, I would live in a PG with my mother, then we would change PGs, lived in a 1BHK, with no bed, no mattress, nothing. It was always a wish to have a house of our own. It’s been a blessing that we have been able to afford a house not only for ourselves but also for our mothers.”
Dipika’s mother also made a heartfelt appearance in the vlog, expressing her joy and gratitude for having a permanent home. She shared, “It’s a big thing to have a house of your own at this age. No matter what happens, having a home is essential. The fact that our kids thought of giving me this means so much. I am very happy to have a roof of my own.” Her happiness was evident as she embraced this new chapter in her life.
Meanwhile, Shoaib Ibrahim shared an interesting detail in the vlog, revealing that he bought the same house for Dipika’s mother where she once lived on rent. He further mentioned that both his and Dipika’s families are now settled in the same building and have no plans to move, as he cherishes their joint family setup. He also added that their son, Ruhaan, enjoys everyone’s attention and loves playing with all his grandparents.
