When the breath flows predominantly through the left nostril, it activates the Chandra Swar Nadi. According to Bhopal-based astrologer and Vastu consultant Pandit Hitendra Kumar Sharma, this channel stimulates the right brain, which enhances creative thinking and calmness.

In contrast, when breathing is stronger through the right nostril, the Surya Swar Nadi is activated. This triggers the left brain, which supports logical thinking, decision-making, and practical actions.

Maintaining a balance between these nadis is crucial for mental and emotional harmony. If the left nostril remains dominant for extended periods, a person may become more creative and serene. On the other hand, dominance of the right nostril may lead to stronger reasoning and analytical skills.
