Chhath Puja 2024: For both private and commercial vehicles, the Ghaziabad Traffic Police’s diversion plan will be effective from 2pm until late evening on November 7, and from 3am until the end of the puja on November 8

Here is the detailed diversion plan to help you reach your destination with ease. (News18 Hindi)

As the four-day grand Chhath Mahaparv comes to a close, thousands of devotees are expected to gather on November 7 and 8 at Hindon Ghat in Ghaziabad. To manage the heavy traffic flow on these days, Ghaziabad Police have issued a diversion plan for both private and commercial vehicles, effective from 2pm until late evening on November 7, and from 3am until the end of the puja on November 8.

Here is the detailed diversion plan to help you reach your destination with ease:

For Private Vehicles

  • All private vehicles heading towards Hindon Bridge from New Link Road DPS Siddharth Vihar and New Bus Adda/Meerut Tiraha will be redirected. These vehicles should use the New Link Road via Jal Nigam T-Point towards NH-9.
  • No private vehicles will be allowed from Mohan Nagar towards Hindon Bridge. These vehicles should use Karhera, Nagdwar, and Rajnagar Extension routes.
  • Private vehicles from Kanawani towards Hindon Bridge will also be completely restricted. They should use Vasundhara Lal Light route to reach their destinations.

For Commercial Vehicles

  • All commercial vehicles from Mohan Nagar towards Hindon Bridge will be redirected via Link Road from UP Gate through NH-9.
  • No commercial vehicles will be allowed from Kanawani towards Hindon Bridge.
  • Commercial vehicles from Meerut Tiraha, New Link Road DPS Siddharth Vihar, and New Bus Adda towards Hindon Bridge will be restricted.
  • Commercial vehicles travelling from Meerut towards Mohan Nagar/Seemapuri via Meerut Tiraha should take ALT Hapur Chungi via the Diamond Flyover on NH-9. These vehicles will not be allowed towards Rajnagar Extension from ALT Chauraha.
  • Heavy commercial vehicles coming from Bhopura Tiraha will not be permitted towards Nagdwar/Karhera from the Air Force Roundabout. They should use the route from Air Force Roundabout to Mohan Nagar via Link Road through UP Gate, which is expected to increase traffic in Mohan Nagar.
  • All heavy commercial vehicles will be restricted from Hapur Chungi towards Rajnagar Extension and should use NH-9 to reach their destinations.
