CSIR UGC NET December 2024 exam will be held in two shifts. The first shift will be from 9 am to noon and the second shift will be from 3 pm to 6 pm
CSIR UGC NET 2024: The National Testing Agency has announced the date and full schedule of the CSIR UGC NET. The exam will be held from February 28 to March 2 in both Hindi and English languages. Candidates will take the exam in the same language, which is selected at the time of application. The exam was earlier scheduled to be held between February 16 and February 28, 2025.
Those who pass the CSIR UGC NET exam will be given a Junior Research Fellowship and will also be able to apply to become Assistant Professors. Apart from this, they will also be able to take admission to PhD. This exam will be in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
CSIR UGC NET December 2024 exam will be held in two shifts. The first shift will be from 9 am to noon and the second shift will be from 3 pm to 6 pm. This means that the exam will be of three hours. The exam covers five subjects including Chemical Sciences, Earth Sciences (including Atmospheric, Ocean, and Planetary Sciences), Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Physical Sciences.

February 28 from 9 am to noon – Mathematical Science and Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean, and Planetary Science
February 28 from 3 pm to 6 pm – Chemical Science
March 1 from 9 am to noon – Life Sciences
March 1 from 3 pm to 6 pm – Life Sciences
March 1 from 9 am to noon – Physical Science
CSIR UGC NET Dec 2024: When will the city intimation slip be released?
City intimation slip and admit card will be issued separately for the CSIR UGC NET December 2024 exam. First, the city intimation slip will be issued from which information about the exam city and shift timing, etc. will be known. After this, the admit cards will be issued. The city intimation slip and admit card can be downloaded by visiting the NTA website csirnet.nta.ac.in, once out.
