Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama has been granted Z-category Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) security cover by the central government, ANI reported. The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) decided to provide the enhanced security cover after a recent Intelligence Bureau threat analysis report.
Previously he was given protection from the Himachal Pradesh Police and other security agencies. But, over recent intelligence inputs and potential risks, the Home Ministry has decided to provide him with the CRPF for his security, ensuring a more coordinated and robust protection plan.
Z-Category Security To Sambit Patra
The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has given Z-category security to Sambit Patra for Manipur. He was given security based on the IB report, and security will be provided by CRPF commandos only for his Manipur visit.
